Getting to Know Each Other

Hi All!

My name is Katie and I am a Customer Service Representative with AmeriCAL! I first joined the company in July of 2016 in the position of Customer Service Assistant. Since then I have moved into my position as a Rep and I love it! It’s so much fun talking to our customers and getting to know everyone. I come from a background in retail customer service in addition to my printing experience with a local copy center.

I am a born and bred Nebraskan though I love to travel. Meeting new people and learning new things is an adventure that I am always open to! In my spare time I hang out with my puppy Maggie May (yes we named her after the Rod Stewart song). I also enjoy going to the movies with my roommate and doing craft projects.

Since joining the AmeriCAL family I have made new friends and gained new insight into the world of printing. Though I am familiar with printing, custom stickers and labels are a new territory for me. I’ve recently attended some trade shows with AmeriCAL when I had the chance to meet customers that had been with our company for years as well as others who are newer to the industry. While reflecting on what I had learned at the shows we came up with a blog idea! We wanted to start a series of blog posts about getting to know stickers and labels. The series will aim to answer questions for those starting out in the industry such as new terms. We will also try to enlighten some of our seasoned printing veterans on functions AmeriCAL is capable of.
