Static Clings, also known as Window Clings, are a versatile, specialty label. Static creates a natural adhesive free bond between the label and a smooth surface, such as window, glass or metal. Static Cling material is rated for about 2 months after application. The Ultra Removable materials are rated for 6 months after application and remove residue free. All are square cornered and finished on a sheet, choose from Spot Color or 4-Color Process imprint for your custom design. White ink back-up on clear material can provide an opaque appearance once the label is applied, please refer to this application guide to choose the correct placement of white ink.

No White Ink Back-up Charge
White ink back-up can be important for ink opacity and readability for clear materials. The surface that the label is applied to can influence the colors, so you can consider white in back-up as an insurance policy for the ink colors.
Adhesive Options
Static Cling material is a non-adhesive based material. The material is literally charged by static as it is removed from the liner and then placed onto the surface. While not every surface will accept Static Cling material, it has been very popular because it does not leave a residue when removed, and it is truly a temporary use material. The Ultra Removable materials are a great alternative to Static Cling if the application needs a little longer use — up to 6 months indoor use — and remove cleanly when finished. It can be applied to most clean, smooth surfaces.
