COVID-19: We are Fully Operational & Committed to You
It has been whirlwind of activity here at AmeriCAL. It seems that we have all been hunkering down and doing our best to serve you, our valued family of distributors. We are doing everything in our control to remain open amid the ever changing restrictions and policies over the spread and hopeful containment of COVID-19. We are located in Omaha, Nebraska and we are currently not under the shelter-in place directives. But if we were, AmeriCAL would be considered an essential business and allowed to operate. That is because of you, and the customers you serve; medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and food & beverage industries.
So what we ask of you during these times is to take a minute to review what you send in for quote requests or Purchase Orders. Our goal is to process requests and orders as quickly as we can to stay ahead of any potential restrictions. It is also helpful to have a backup contact in case we do need to get in touch with you and you are not available. It is powerful to acknowledge that we are all in this together, and working together will help us come out stronger.
UPS is our main carrier for shipments and their delivery service has been interrupted, and delivery guarantees are no longer in place. They are asking us as the shipper to verify shipping destinations before shipping to states and cities where shelter-in place restrictions are in place. We are doing our best to be proactive on reaching out before the ship date, but this is an ever changing situation. We are asking for residential ship to addresses in most cases to be assured it can be delivered. UPS is also only making one attempt for delivery and then it will be shipped back to us in Omaha.
