4 Materials to Meet Your Needs
We offer four material choices to cover more applications. Tamper Evident Paper is best suited for retail, education, office, and packaging industries. It tends to splinter as it is torn, or if removed all together cannot be reapplied to any surface. White Destructible Film also splinters when picked at and is typically found in electronic and appliance applications. Both VOID Polyester materials can be found on higher priced or valuable appliances, such as tools, rental equipment, and warranty parts. When the label is removed it leaves behind the word “VOID” on the surface.
All in a Name
Tamper Evident and Tamperproof can be used interchangeably when discussing labels that need to show if the item has been tampered with. While some other materials may do similar tearing or fragmentation when removed, that is not the intended purpose of those materials, and you should proceed with caution.
